Helena Charlotte Philippa Edwards is the second child of James and Laura Edwards. She was born 15 December 1993. She has older sister Margaret from 1991 and younger sisters fraternal twins Rosalind from 1996 and Beatrice from 1996. She lives in Salford, Manchester.

In 1998, when she was 4, she started Reception at Spratton Hall Prep School.
In 2007, when she was 13, she started Rugby School.
In 2010, she took her GCSEs with A*A*A*A*A*A*A*A*AA in English language (A*), English literature (A*), Maths (A), Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Physics (A), French (A*), History (A*), Drama (A*), and Classical Civilization (A*).
In September 2011 she applied to university at Cambridge, St Catharine's College for English (A*AA), Durham for English Literature (A*AA), Exeter for English (AAA), York for English (AAA), Sussex for English (AAB). She firmed Cambridge and put York as her insurance choice.
In 2012 she took her A levels in English (A*), History (A*), Biology (A) and French (A), and got her place at Cambridge, Kings College confirmed.
In October 2012 she started university at Cambridge, St Catharine's College, studying English.
She graduated in 2015 with an upper second degree.

In 2015, she work as a Social Media Assisant for a company in Manchester. In 2016 she got a job as BBC online content producer in Manchester.
